Alumawood Products Care & Maintenance

The alumawood Laguna shade structures are surprisingly easy to maintain. In most cases, rainfall is just enough to keep your cover clean. However, if you must clean your cover then we make the following suggestions.

For covers which are moderately dirty we suggest an occasional had wash using a hose with a soft brush.

For those of you who take your cover four-wheeling then you may wish to wash down your cover in the same manner previously mentioned however, this time add 1/3 cup of detergent into a gallon of water along with 2/3 cup of Trisodium Phosphate powder.

For those of you who live where mildew may be an issue, we suggest the following for that.
Using a soft bristle brush and a mixture of 1/3 cup of detergent, 2/3 cup of trisodium phosphate, 1 quart of sodium hypochloride at 5% to 3 quarts of water.
